Taxi Services

Guernsey has a regulated, licensed taxi service based at three ranks - in central St Peter Port, St Sampson (on The Bridge) and at Guernsey Airport. 

The demand for taxi services is very high and so it is recommended to book as far in advance as possible.  There is a Guernsey Taxi app that can be downloaded (from the Google Play/ Apple App stores). This allows you to request a taxi for an immediate journey - and so is subject to availability at the time of request.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the Taxi App to book journeys in advance.  It is therefore advisable to book a taxi in advance whenever possible.  

Accessible taxi drivers have had additional training, the vehicle has been specially adapted to carry a wheelchair if required, and the cab has good internal lighting to assist people who may have a visual impairment.  Find out more about Accessible Taxis here.
